Advocacy and Public Policy

What We Do

The JCRC educates, advocates, and acts on issues at the local, state, and national levels to advance Jewish concerns in the public arena.

JCRC advocates on a range of issues concerning which it has developed an official position.  Information on individual policy positions can be found on the Official Positions page.

JCRC Domestic Issues Advocacy Committee

The Domestic Issues Advocacy Committee of the Jewish Community Relations Council meets monthly to help draft new public policy statements for consideration by the JCRC Board and Council. Members also engage in activities to further current advocacy priorities of the JCRC. Les Sterman is the JCRC Domestic Issues Advocacy Chair.
