In the US, our immigration system has been under continuous challenge and change throughout history. After all these changes, what is the current system for immigration to the US, what created the system, who does it fail, and how are we called to respond? The Interfaith Committee on Latin America (IFCLA)’s four part class seeks to guide participants in exploring these questions. Dinner will be offered for a nominal fee for those who register in advance! Drinks will be provided.  Register here!


Welcome Neighbor Dinner

Please join us for a special Syrian dinner prepared by a family who came to the United States through the refugee resettlement program. Following the dinner, we will have the opportunity to hear directly from the family about their journey to the country. These events are organized through the St. Louis organization, Welcome Neighbor.

Doors at 6:00 PM
Program & Dinner at 6:30 PM
Proceeds for the meal go directly to the family.
Vegetarian/Vegan options will be available.
Kosher meals can be ordered for those who request them in advance.

Hop on board a bus with the JCRC, Missouri Immigrants & Refugees Advocates (MIRA), and the ACLU of Missouri to speak with legislators about our positions on current legislation and welcoming the stranger.  Registration coming soon!
