\nIn this workshop\, we’ll strengthen our understanding of the dynamics at
play in the context of racialized identity and interpersonal relations in
and around Jewish communal environments. We’ll explore the role of the ne
rvous system in how we respond to what's happening around us\; how societa
l messaging and racist ideology can hijack our nervous system responses —
and what to do about that. We’ll work with tools and skills that enable us
to appropriately respond to a variety of situations with awareness and di
scernment. \n\n** Accessibility note: The workshop will include some very
light guided movement practices as well as discussion and frontal learning
. All bodies are welcome. Please dress in comfortable\, unrestrictive clot
hing to the extent possible. \n\n\nYoshi Silverstein (he/him) is a Chinese
