As part of Shalom Amigos and the Newmark Institute at JCRC, we invite you to join us as we start our 2025 Jewish Book Festival season with a celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month by welcoming acclaimed writer, performer, and editor Adriana E. Ramírez. A Colombian-Mexican American author and the winner of the PEN/Fusion Emerging Writers Prize, Ramírez is known for her fearless storytelling, dynamic voice, and incisive cultural commentary.
In this special appearance, she’ll also reflect on her personal journey in discovering and embracing her Jewish heritage—offering a compelling and deeply personal narrative that bridges cultures and communities.
