The word Tzedek means "justice" in Hebrew. Our Tzedek Award honorees embody the mission of JCRC, to foster a just, democratic, and pluralistic society in St. Louis, across the US, and in Israel - building bridges of understanding that seek to combat antisemitism and challenge all forms of hate, bias, and bigotry.

The Tzedek Awards honor members of the Jewish commuinuty along with members of our interfaith and intergroup community partners whose passion and dedication strengthen the St. Louis region.
This year, we continue to feature the Student to Student program of the JCRC's Newmark Institute, one of our most impactful programs and one of the ways we most effectivtly connect our Jewish community to the wider St. Louis community.
