March 1993 Proposition "S"
Proposition “S” is a property tax on the St. Louis County ballot to raise money for the mental health fund. The proposition would add 9 cents for every 100 dollars of evaluation of property tax and would permit the county to set up a Mental Health Fund run by a Citizens Board of Trustees who would distribute the monies to various organizations throughout the county. The motion that the JCRC support Proposition “S” was passed unanimously.
