March 1996 Missouri's Children
The JCRC voted unanimously to endorse “The Platform for Missouri’s Children”, developed by a statewide meeting of organizations working on children’s issues, which states that the well-being of Missouri’s children should be the highest priority in policy decisions, especially as the state responds to federal budget cuts and block grants, and recommends principles and strategies to guide state government decisions.
