The Jewish Community Relations Council has long played a strong leading role in Israel education and advocacy. It performs a wide variety of activities – some proactive and others reactive – including:

Ongoing education of the St. Louis Jewish community and larger St. Louis population about Israel, its history and narrative, its accomplishments and challenges.

Promoting and facilitating informed, civil discussion and debate about Israeli policies within the Jewish community.

Promoting Jewish activism on behalf of Israel.

Coordinating community rallies and commemorations.

Responding to and defending Israel against adverse or unwarranted editorials, attacks etc.

Bringing the views of the St. Louis Jewish community to national policy-making fora and the Israeli leadership.
